Arts in the Park, Inc.
Arts in the Park is held annually (June). Enjoy two full days of
performances and exhibits at this fine arts festival which was first held in
1936.
Danville Light Opera
Danville Municipal Band
The band, sponsored by the City of Danville in 1940, In June & July in
historic Lincoln & Douglas Parks.
Danville Symphony Orchestra
A professional orchestra formed in 1967. The orchestra performs a four
concert subscription series, two free children's concerts, and a free concert at
Arts in the Park. The orchestra also performs Chamber Concerts & hosts an annual
Youth Concerto Competition.

Chorus
Organized in 1989 with a mission to "unite the community in song," In
addition to traditional concerts, the chorus may also be taken as a credit class
